It’s Good Friday and we wish to extend a hand out to some seriously good people. We feel so honoured to have had the opportunity to have worked alongside some of the most profoundly talented individuals, in bringing our records to new found heights.
First, to James Osler who is a brother to both of us. Sharing a path with our favourite composer to bless this earth is the greatest honour for us. Your late late nights and early early mornings wreathed in tenacity and delirium have brought a wondrous dreamscape to the fabric of our art. We love you so so much.
To Jools Owen who is the beating pulse of so much magic behind the ethereal, longing horn lines which scatter the landscapes of many a song of ours. To Fraser Bowles for his incredible talent in making tangible, all those emotions we put to him as he soars in deep, meditative improvisation. To Richard for his unique tonal fingerprint which touches the music so deeply, and offers a hauntingly beautiful realm in its wake. To Hugo Scott, one of the truest artists we have come to know, for embodying the soul of the train for two wrongs. To Rhys Lovell for the depth and warmth you have brought with bow and heart to the music. To Rebecca bell for her incredible gift of embodying the music within her playing and offering a rock to her sweeping Melodies. To Shirley smart for her deeply moving performances though-out and finally to Owain Jenkins for opening up, with your generosity and genius, a new sonic journey which breathes even more rigour and depth into what is to come in the near future.
Happy Easter all!
With love and compassion,
